Antisemitism Culture & Identity Racism

In the first webinar of our series Confronting Hate: A Conversation Series on Combating Antisemitism and Racism in the 21st Century, we heard from a panel of experts about examining and combating online hate.

"The study of antisemitism has taught us a lot of things ... if you allow it space to grow, it will metastasize. It is a phenomenally resilient cancer in our society," says Imran Ahmed, the CEO of the Center to Counter Digital Hate in an interview with NPR. Our panelists discussed how, through online spaces, antisemitism has been spreading and social media platforms have been used as megaphones for hate speech and violent threats.

We are grateful to The Hammer Family for supporting the development of our on-demand learning and teaching resources.
