Are you in the first few years of your teaching career or are you preparing to become a teacher? This workshop series is designed for you! Join us for an interactive online workshop series where we’ll focus more on the “how” of teaching than the “what.”

Using Facing History’s pedagogical approach, we’ll engage with activities that help you think about building reflective communities of care.  The series will focus on the importance of identity and SEL instruction to help create inclusive, student-centered classrooms where students feel a sense of belonging and connection. During each session, you’ll be in conversation with others who are new to teaching and walk away with practical strategies to use in your classroom.
