Join us for a recording of a Community Read conversation with the authors of Tell Me Who You Are, Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi. Priya and Winona share about their work and their book, and answer questions from students.

Tell Me Who You Are is a compelling and fascinating series of personal narratives about identity, race, gender, and civic participation from across the United States. Facing History’s Northeast Ohio Partner School Network chose Guo and Vulchi’s Tell Me Who You Are as this year’s Community Read in order to foster important conversations around the book’s themes with students, educators, and families within and across our diverse group of schools. The book’s narratives are interspersed with informational text about understanding the complexity of identity, how to build community across differences, and listening to others’ stories and telling your own.

We are grateful to The Hammer Family for supporting the development of our on-demand learning and teaching resources.
