Joy Harjo, the 23rd United States Poet Laureate, and the first Native American to hold the position, reads a selection of her poems and shares how she uses poetry to face our country's hard histories while building bridges of understanding. Together with members of the Facing History community, this conversation explores the challenges the pandemic has brought and the underlying inequities it has exacerbated.
